09-01-14 to 08-18-15    Verigent /Communication Innovators               Soda Springs, Idaho

I relocated to Soda Springs, Idaho to work on a yearlong contract at the

           Monsanto Plant located there. I took part in all fiber and cable placement. Utilizing

           Panduit products in the closets, cable terminations and cable hangers when needed.

           DeltaV18ga shielded control cable was placed for equipment monitoring

           Cat5 Data Cable 400,000’ throughout the facility used for Cameras, WIFI, Network  

           Wiring and Television.

 

4-2014 to 08-2014                      Mason Technologies Inc.            National Gov. Contractor

         Upon successful completion of the OSHA- 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach and

         Securing a pass that allows me to enter Veterans facilities across the US. I have been

        dispatched to VA facilities with the required tools and safety clothing.

          These contract positions have taken me to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I placed WIFI routers linked with

            Cat6 balanced cabling into the campus buildings in the Veteran’s Administration Facility.

§ Upon completion of two week training on excel and cable identification, I returned to my home office

to edit OSP from my desktop via Google. After my review of existing plant, recommendations were developed.

07-2013 to 08-2013                      Mason Technologies Inc.                      Deer Park, NY

§ This contracting position took me took me to Woburn, Massachusetts to place WIFI routers, and access points into the campus buildings of the Veterans Administration. We placed new Cat6 balanced cable throughout individual buildings from the closets to all designated rooms. Unfortunately, upon completion of the first campus the funding for the projects ceased.

§ I dispatch from the main switch location to service telephones, modoms and other signaling devices across a secure site. My duties included Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletes in addition to trouble tickets. The van I utilized was equipped with radio and tools on site. I received my work orders in the field throughout the day, upon completion of each WO, I notified the Customer Service Relations. I am

familiar with the 3M Dynatel DSP965 Subscriber Loop Analyzer and Sidekick Test Set.

08-2012 to 10-2012                ROLINC / Staley Technologies, LLC                      Central CA

§ Mark and I dispatched with tools, transportation and a work schedule to install new Wi-Fi systems into 13 Costco Stores. We wired for 12 new modems and placed 24 wireless modems at each store. Work was accomplished using 26’ scissors lifts and Cisco equipment previously shipped to each store.

§ I trained as a Lightspeed Engineer in ARES, Workprint, and F-2 verification to condition existing cable plant. Utilizing various computer programs to access Abbreviated Cable Reports, Jam and Formtek historical maps were printed. Using fielded OSP prints, verify their accuracy, and develop accurate Workprints used to evaluate the expense of modifications to existing plant necessary for Lightspeed Service to ATT cliental.

§ As a Structured Cabling Systems technician working  for the City of San Diego I worked on the New Florence Joyner Elementary School providing  the installation of Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, FO, Version 6&11 coaxial cables, Alarms, Security, AV, PIR, Fire, Smoke, OSP, CCTV and CATV.

§ Voice/Data, and FO installations for the San Jacinto School District in new elementary schools to include  FTTN and copper upgrades in existing High Schools and Middle Schools(ISP & OSP).

§ Dr’s Hospital Culver City complete remodel to include Cat6 to all patient rooms, nurse stations. Crews placed version 6 Coax design from basement Data Room throughout 7 floors of the hospital. This supports state of the art articulating arm devices that support flat screens capable of providing CCTV, Internet and Dr’s reports on patient status to every room. 

09-2003 to 02-2004                     Teldata Enterprise Networks                          San Diego, CA

§ I am a Structured Cabling Systems Technician placing, terminating, and testing Cat5/CAT5e, Cat6 voice and data cables at Pomerado Medical Center, Palomar Medical Center, El Centro Hospital and Balboa Naval Hospital. This work took place during regular hospital hours in and around doctors and patients.

§ Estimated school projects, ordered and received materials, maintained tools, and managed E-Rate            construction crews working in the LAUSD (FO) to all classrooms.

§ I managed voice/data and fiber placement at Camp Pendleton.  Planned and placed wire mold and fiber optic into sixty-one buildings on the base.     

§  I supported many Broadband construction projects in various southern CA venues, Project manager for voice/data and FO installation for Mitchell International.

§ I engineered routing of existing cabling for Rexel Project Phase I and Phase II CATV engineering of the San Diego Elementary Schools.

§ Bid and built projects for outside plant and premise wiring placement. I put together complete project contracts to include labor, materials and equipment costs to include projected return for services.

§ Tracked production of crews on GTE’s OSP broadband project in Thousand Oaks, CA. We trenched and directionally bored their system into local residential developments.

§ I secured a contract for CATV construction based on a /foot price and managed crews for OSP aerial and UG CATV installation. Contract value was excess of $1 million.

§ I was the on -site project manager for communications installation CSUSB IW and cable placement in the tunnel distribution system on campus. I also placed horizontal and vertical wiring at the new Von’s regional office in El Monte.

§  On- site project manager for conduit, manhole, and OSP cable installation at Paramount Studios. We built the protection racking and wire wrapped our OSP in the new switch room ($2 million project).

§ On site manager for technicians at Warner Brothers Studio, coordinated OSP (Cable placement) and IW projects (MAC Orders)
